#80YearsOfThePAS In 2015, the Saskatchewan Archives Board (SAB) was officially renamed the Provincial Archives of Saskatchewan (PAS) under the new Archives and Public Records Management Act. The name change aspires to more clearly reflect the PAS’ role as the custodian of the documentary heritage of the province. The new legislation endeavours to modernize the PAS, clearly defining that all public records, regardless of format, are subject to the Act. This includes maintaining electronic records
