It’s the 18th anniversary of THE ROAD TO ESCONDIDO. The album is a collaboration between Cale and longtime friend Eric Clapton. Initially a Clapton solo album, Cale hopped on the project. The Grammy award winning album shows off two legendary artists’ expression of true friendship and mutual admiration. The two artists also called upon many all-star guests to be on the record, including Billy Preston, WillieWeeks, Derek Trucks, John Mayer, Taj Mahal and more. Photo courtesy of Getty Images | JJ
