The food safety watchdog is warning parents in the UK to avoid contaminated baby formula after a batch of Aptamil First Infant Formula, made by food giant Danone, was recalled after the toxin cereulide was found in the product. The Food Standards Agency has confirmed that the contamination originated from a third-party ingredient supplier. The same supplier is also linked to a recall by Nestlé earlier this month.
