I am extremely grateful to have a myoelectric prosthetic because I know how rare it is for insurance companies to approve one especially for upper limb differences. In my case it almost felt like fate. My insurance company accidentally approved me for full coverage and by the time they realized their mistake I had already been using my prosthetic for six months. They did try to take it back but legally they could not. I never forget how rare this opportunity is and while I am thankful every day
