The Philly Sports Guy, the man behind the mohawk and colorful face paint, hopes fans will bring all their energy to Nola.

The Philly faithful are heading to New Orleans to cheer on the Eagles in Super Bowl LIX. That includes Jamie Pagliei, aka Philly Sports Guy, who's known for sporting his green mohawk and face paint at Eagles games and around the city.

New Orleans will host its 11th Super Bowl this year, tying Miami for the most ever. Los Angeles is in third with eight games. The city is a natural setting for several reasons. It has had a continuous NFL team in its city since 1967. More importantly, the city has consistently warm weather and a state-of-the-art dome.

Former First Lady Jill Biden is headed to New Orleans to cheer on the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX, according to media reports. CNN White House correspondent Arleen Saenz reported that she will attend the game at the Caesars Superdome with her grandson, Hunter. WDSU-TV also said a White House official confirmed the trip.

Markey's has been open in New Orleans since 1905, but Eagles fans have taken over the bar within the last decade. Owner Roy Markey is expecting "couple hundred people," on Sunday for the Super Bowl.

The Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs have landed in New Orleans for Super Bowl week. They exited their planes to sunshine and temperatures in the 60s on Sunday afternoon, a week before their matchup on Feb. 9.
