THE world of boxing is in mourning following news of Georgia O’Connor’s passing, after a heartbreaking battle with cancer.

Georgia O’Connor has tragically died at the age of 25. She was diagnosed with cancer in October 2024, and ultimately lost her battle with the condition.

She tweeted: "My last BBC Politics Live shift with this wonderful woman. @Jo_Coburn is leaving the BBC tomorrow after 28 yrs!
