A Kentucky State Police trooper is recovering after being shot during a traffic stop that preceded Sunday's deadly church shooting in rural Lexington.
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Nathaniel Danzy is facing charges in the murder of Zemondric Hall. At the end of May, shots rang out at the Bridle Creek Apartment Complex, leading one employee to call police. When police arrived, they say they saw Hall suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in his car. He died on the scene.

The Lexington Police Department is investigating a homicide after a man was found shot to death on Darien Drive Tuesday afternoon. According to police, officers were dispatched around 1:25 p.m. to a home in the 1800 block of Darien Drive for a report of an unresponsive person.
The shooting happened around 4 a.m. Sunday on Winchester Road. Three people were shot, and one woman sustained life-threatening injuries.
