Tottenham were without James Maddison during their 1-1 draw with West Ham on Sunday, with the midfielder sidelined by a knee injury that could prove more serious than first feared.

Maddison walked off the pitch under his own power, but Postecoglou said afterwards that he was going to have a scan on his knee to assess the extent of his injury. While Ange didn’t elaborate on the result of the scan, which presumably is now complete, he made it sound as though Maddison could be out a while.
