An investigation is underway after a man was shot Thursday night in Greenville County. Before midnight, deputies received a call about a gunshot victim in the area of Anderson Road and Blackwood Street.

A man was injured in a shooting in Greenville County Thursday night, according to Master Deputy Kory Morian, with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office.

Two 17-year-olds have been charged in connection with a shooting that took place Monday in Greenville. According to officials, the individuals have been charged with attempted murder and are currently being held at the Juvenile Detention Center.

Greenville police responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the area of Contentnea Street, Fourth Street and Ward Street Monday evening. Police said a 16-year-old was shot and has non-life-threatening injuries.
