Nearly 100 people gathered Thursday afternoon in Centennial Park in downtown Glenwood Springs for the “Good Trouble Lives On” National Day of Action. The nationwide day of protest honors the legacy of the late U.

The event was one in an ongoing series of protests against President Donald Trump, this one on the anniversary of civil rights icon John Lewis' death.

MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) - Vermonters getting into “Good Trouble.” Many gathered on the State House lawn Saturday morning to honor Congressman John Lewis, a Civil Rights icon. Mark Baker, one of the protestors, says we should be looking to Lewis’ work in today’s political climate.

"Good Trouble Lives On" is known as a national day of action and brings topics of controversial changes happening throughout the country to the events. MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) - After being canceled Thursday due to a thunderstorm, Montpelier’s “Good Trouble” rally will be held today. There will be a photo procession of civil rights icons and songs from the Civil Rights era. Speakers will include Vermont Secretary of State Sarah Copeland Hanzas and State Senator Kesha Ram Hinsdale.
