At 2:15 p.m. on Friday, the National Weather Service released a flood advisory in effect until 5:15 p.m. for Shelby County.

At 3:29 p.m. on Friday, the NWS Blacksburg VA released a flood advisory in effect until 6:30 p.m. for Wilkes County.
