We’re just seven games in to the 2025 WNBA season and the Chicago Sky find themselves in a mess of a situation.After a 79-52 drubbing at the hands of the Indiana Fever Saturday night, the Sky are 2-5 with their only wins coming against the lowly Dallas Wings.
The Chicago Sky (2-5) travel to face the undefeated New York Liberty (8-0) on Tuesday night in a Commissioner's Cup matchup at Barclays Center.

Yet after her big game, Reese fielded a non-basketball related question in her Sky presser that immediately drew the ire of her teammate, Ariel Atkins. A reporter asked Reese about the scrutiny she's received online and how she handles the negativity. Reese gave a fairly cookie-cutter answer before Atkins butted in.
Reese wiped away tears as Atkins spoke and thanked her for it at the end. She then continued in discussing her appreciation for her teammates.
