U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, an independent from Vermont, will bring his “Fighting Oligarchy: Where We Go From Here” tour to the Lehigh Valley on May 3. Sanders will speak at Lehigh University’s Stabler Arena. Also appearing will be U.S. Rep. Chris Deluzio, a Democrat who represents Pennsylvania’s 17th District in southwestern Pennsylvania.

In recent weeks, Sanders has been joined at some of his rallies by New York U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, seen by many as the successor to Sanders in leading the left-wing populist movement and a potential 2028 presidential candidate. Sanders jokingly called her his “daughter” at a rally in Salt Lake City, according to The Associated Press.
