19-year-old killed, 16-year-old charged in Avalon Pier shooting, police say
Police identified the suspect as 16-year-old Henry Lee Hargis of Kill Devil Hills. He's charged with first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to kill, inflicting serious injury. Due to his age, the suspect is being held in a juvenile detention facility.
