ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – After wildfires and flooding tore through the Ruidoso area, Ruidoso Downs Race Track took a major hit, forcing them to move the rest of the season to Albuquerque Downs.

Albuquerque Downs received a full makeover during the off-season with a renovated grandstand and other improvements, including a Jumbotron, but the biggest change is when the races start.

If the Ruidoso Downs horse racing meet continues at a different state track, the 2025 All American Futurity is in play to happen.
