The Indianapolis Colts took the field again in training camp on Saturday, and the focus of the day was clearly redzone work. During team drills, there were multiple observations to take away as I watched from the sidelines.

Numerically speaking, Spencer Shrader has a leg up on undrafted rookie Maddux Trujillo after the first two weeks of training camp. Shrader, who made kicks from 36, 44 and 39 yards while banging a 52-yard attempt off the left upright on Saturday, has made 87% of his kicks so far.

After returning All-Pros at each level of the defense — DeForest Buckner, Zaire Franklin, and Charvarius Ward — the Colts tightened up in today’s red zone-heavy practice. It began with the starting unit but continued with the reserves.
