RUSH SPRINGS, Okla. (KFOR) – Get ready for some sweet watermelon as the Watermelon Festival in Rush Springs, Oklahoma kicks off August 10 in Chickasaw country.

Watermelon grown by local farmers will also be on sale, and vendors at the festival will be set up until 7 p.m. Free shuttle rides are provided from the school's football field.
