After months of talks, investigations, community discussion and dissent, Peter Davis was fired without severance Tuesday as leader of the Galveston Beach Patrol.

Boxer Gervonta "Tank" Davis was arrested Friday, July 11 on one count of battery-domestic violence in Florida, according Doral Police Department records.
