There's another era underway in Seattle, too, after the Seahawks decided to undergo a change at quarterback after trading Geno Smith and signing Sam Darnold to a multiyear deal. While Darnold is the projected starter for 2025, the team's newest quarterback quickly showed signs of progress during his first NFL practice.

One week after being selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the 2025 NFL draft, Jalen Milroe got to show off some of what he is capable of doing on the field. In a short highlight video posted from rookie minicamp, Milroe is seen completing passes to some of his new teammates.

The Seahawks will look for ways to get Jalen Milroe on the field as quickly as possible, but don't expect the rookie quarterback to take on a Taysom Hill-style role.
