NBA referee Scott Foster suffered an ugly injury on Thursday night. During Game 2 of the Western Conference finals between the Thunder and Timberwolves, Foster, 58, got a brutal blow to the face from Oklahoma City forward Luguentz Dort following a jump ball midway through the first quarter.
In the third quarter of the Timberwolves’ Game 1 loss to Oklahoma City, Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander tried to drive right past his cousin, Nickeil Alexander-Walker. Shai fell down, and the official called a foul on Nickeil.
