Despite being drafted, Sivka will remain overseas for the 2025 season. According to Karli Bell, Chicago Sky general manager Jeff Pagliocca confirmed that the organization will retain the rights to Sivka and expects her to begin her WNBA career in 2026.

Chicago-based reporter Karli Bell shared on social media Monday that the Sky coaching staff addressed the media in a press conference. Among the topics discussed were their expectations for two of their young stars, Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso, both of whom have room to grow heading into Saturday’s opener.

Kamilla Cardoso was delighted, too, to have a chance to spend a little time with — and, in a total twist, play against — Brazil’s national team, for which she has been a central figure in recent years.
