Madame Leota’s Somewhere Beyond, the first standalone gift shop fully dedicated to Haunted Mansion and “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” unexpectedly opened on Dec. 23.

Bringing Madame Leota to the big screen was more than just about her looks too, as they also had to make her look believable when she was in her crystal ball and not just on set with the other actors.

Madame Leota’s Somewhere Beyond opened on Dec. 23 just in time for Christmas and a few weeks before the Haunted Mansion returned following the removal of the seasonal holiday overlay.
