The National Weather Service in State College has issued a Flood Watch for Friday in Somerset County, as expected heavy rain and warmer air temperatures may increase the risk of flooding in parts of the county. The Flood Watch is in effect from 7 a.m. Friday until 1 a.m. Saturday, according to the NWS advisory, posted at 3:55 a.m. Thursday.
