TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The Florida legislature is set to meet for a special session on Monday. This comes after a call from Governor Ron Desantis a week before President Donald Trump took office.

The decision means the Florida law will remain in effect in the coming months as the Supreme Court weighs the Texas case.
