Andre Drummond has instructions for the guards for the Philadelphia 76ers when it comes to his screening on the offensive end.

Drummond didn't participate in Saturday's practice due to an illness, Austin Krell of OnPattison.com reports. Drummond has started in center during Philadelphia's last five outings with Joel Embiid (knee) out.

The Philadelphia 76ers are still trying to get organized under the guidance of coach Nick Nurse this late in the season.

Drummond wants to prove he can still be an effective center at age 31. “That’s what I set out to do on a nightly basis," said Drummond, playing in his 13th NBA season.

Drummond has been just as banged up as anybody else on the team. He’s only appeared in 36 of 60 possible games so far, the main culprit being an injury to his left big toe he suffered back on Dec. 23, a game against the San Antonio Spurs in which he got ejected and then un-ejected moments later.
