ATLANTA (AP) — LeBron James was in attendance at Mercedes-Benz Stadium to watch his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes play Notre Dame for the College Football Playoff championship Monday night. The Buckeyes defeated The Irish 34-24 for its first national championship since 2014.

Ohio State defeated Notre Dame 34-23 to claim the national college football title at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Led by Quinshon Judkins and Will Howard, the Buckeyes secured their ninth championship, with LeBron James and other sports legends cheering from the stands.

We've already seen the likes of Travis Scott and Joe Montana down on the sidelines during pre-game warmups, and cameras have also caught pro stars LeBron James and Bryce Harper in attendance as well. Harper was seen down on the field before the game, while James was up in a suite waiting for the game to start.

LeBron James and Bryce Harper were among the celebrities on hand to watch Ohio State and Notre Dame duke it out.
