The event will stream live from Radio City Music Hall exclusively on Peacock Feb. 14 starting at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT. Fan screening events will also be offered in select Imax theaters at Regal Cinemas.
Returning to produce the sequel are Sandler, Tim Herlihy, Robert Simonds and Jack Giarraputo. Sandler and Herlihy wrote the screenplay for Happy Gilmore 2 after having penned the original film’s script. During an interview with the Dan Patrick Show that aired last month, Sandler admitted to feeling pressure to live up to the first film.
Jack White, Bad Bunny, Bonnie Raitt, David Byrne, Post Malone, and others are also playing the Radio City Music Hall event
Lady Gaga, Bad Bunny, Arcade Fire, The Roots and David Byrne are among the scheduled performers for the event, hosted by Jimmy Fallon.
Former Saturday Night Live cast member and current The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon will emcee. Additional acts will be announced.
SNL50: The Homecoming Concert is produced by Broadway Video and directed by Beth McCarthy-Miller. Lorne Michaels and Mark Ronson serve as Executive Producers. Caroline Maroney and Erin David produce the concert event, with Ken Aymong and Rob Paine as supervising producers.
