In addition to the new CDL road test program, the Vehicle and Traffic Law was amended to establish an intrastate commercial driver license (CDL) class A young adult training program.

Currently, there are 98 staff members trained in administering CDL exams. All 93 offices offer the CDL knowledge or written tests and 25 of those locations offer the skills or road test.
