Pioneer, CA – Better mapping of the blaze’s perimeter has increased the Tiger Fire’s acreage to 117.

The blaze sparked at 12:43 p.m. in Pioneer, Amador County, and was spreading at a moderate rate, Cal Fire said.

Cal Fire said the fire had a moderate rate of spread and updated the acreage at 5:35 p.m., mapping it at 3.7 acres. Cal Fire said the fire was 50% contained as of 8:05 a.m. Tuesday.
