The ShopRite LPGA Classic has been around for more than half of those 75 years. Few LPGA events can say the same. The $1.75 million, 54-hole Classic began in 1986 and has been held every year since except for a three-year gap from 2007-09.
Jennifer Kupcho won three times in 2022, including a major, but hadn't won again until this week's ShopRite LPGA Classic. The 28-year-old American held on in cold and soupy conditions at Seaview's historic Bay Course to win by one over South Korea's Ilhee Lee, a now part-time player making her 200th start on the LPGA.
ShopRite donated a record $1.8 million to nearly 50 nonprofits at the 2025 LPGA Classic, supporting hospitals, food banks and youth programs.
The ShopRite LPGA Classic, presented by Acer, wrapped up Sunday in thrilling fashion. The event also helped drive a charitable record donation.
