Los Angeles Dodgers star Mookie Betts broke his silence on the Boston Red Sox trading his former teammate, Rafael Devers.

There’s one element of the Red Sox’ return for Devers that is already proving annoying. It’s the idea that a significant part of what the Sox got back for him was the financial freedom to improve the team.

James Tibbs III, the top prospect coming to the Red Sox in the Rafael Devers trade, notched his first hit with the organization Wednesday night. Currently ranked as Boston’s No. 6 prospect according to MLB Pipeline, Tibbs recorded a single the other way to left field for AA Portland in a home loss to Akron.
