Liam Delap has revealed that he chose to join Chelsea this summer because of his desire to win trophies. The striker moved to Stamford Bridge from Ipswich on Wednesday after the Blues activated the £30million release clause in his contract.

Chelsea have completed the signing of Liam Delap from Ipswich Town for a fee of £30m. The 22-year-old becomes Chelsea's second summer signing after the arrival of Dario Essugo from Sporting CP was confirmed earlier this week.
