Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers stole home-court advantage in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals by defeating the New York Knicks 138-135 in Madison Square Garden. Haliburton hit a buzzer-beating shot to send the game to overtime and cap off a 14-point comeback with 2:40 to go in the fourth quarter.

John Haliburton watched from Tom's Bar as Tyrese helped the Pacers rally in New York, three weeks after the team announced he would not be attending his son's games for the foreseeable future.

Though Haliburton opened himself up to a potential fine by the NBA and accusations that he may have motivated the Knicks, Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said he had no problem with it.
