Justin Timberlake has announced on Instagram Thursday that he was diagnosed with Lyme disease. The former NSYNC singer shared the news in a post commemorating his two-year Forget Tomorrow tour, which wrapped in Turkey on Wednesday.

Pop icon Justin Timberlake revealed he has Lyme disease, joining a growing list of celebrities who have gone public with their diagnoses.

If untreated, Lyme disease can lead to a cascade of complications, including fatigue, severe headaches and neck stiffness, arthritis, rashes and heart palpitations. Patients can also experience dizzy spells, shortness of breath and nerve pain. In rare cases, Lyme can lead to meningitis.
