England captain Ben Stokes has been ruled out of the fifth and final test against India because of a right shoulder injury.

England’s all-action captain has succumbed to the intensity of this five-Test series, opening the door for Bethell’s return to the side seven months after his impressive debut in New Zealand

Liam Dawson, Brydon Carse and Jofra Archer have also been left out, while Jacob Bethell is among four additions for the Oval Test.
