Tariff Man is back again — and so is Wall Street’s TACO trade. President Donald Trump is once more threatening to lob massive duties on a wide swath of US imports, everything from copper and pharmaceuticals to goods from Japan and Russia.

Wall Street's main indexes opened higher on Wednesday, as investors shrugged off President Donald Trump's aggressive tariff moves and kept a close watch on negotiations with global trade partners.

Last week, the Trump administration announced that it reached a deal with Vietnam that would allow U.S. goods to enter the country duty-free, while Vietnamese exports to the U.S. would face a 20% levy. That was a decline from the 46% tax on Vietnamese imports he proposed in April.
