Real Madrid issued a statement on Tuesday opposing La Liga's plans to move Barcelona's match at Villarreal to the U.S. in December, arguing the decision would compromise the competitive integrity of Spain's top flight.

Real Madrid have released a statement opposing a proposal for Barcelona’s LaLiga fixture against Villarreal to be played outside of Spain.

On Monday, the RFEF approved La Liga’s request for the match to be played at Miami's Hard Rock Stadium in December.
