As the Trump administration continues its crackdown on immigration, a new poll released on Friday found a majority of adults in the United States believe immigration is beneficial for the country and are souring on Trump’s handling of the issue.
A July Strength In Numbers/Verasight poll released on Tuesday found that Trump and his legislative agenda remain broadly unpopular. The poll revealed that 42% of U.S. adults approve of Trump’s overall job as president, while 57% disapprove.
A new poll from Gallup Friday shows a steep drop among Republicans wanting immigration levels into the U.S. decreased – falling from 88 percent in 2024 down to 48 percent in June. The same survey showed an uptick in Republicans who see immigration as having a positive effect on the U.S.
