Buffalo improved to 11-4 with the win and moved one step closer to clinching a playoff spot. All the Bills need now is for the Texans OR Colts to lose OR tie their games.
The Detroit Lions’ comeback efforts came up short as the Pittsburgh Steelers secured a 29-24 win, capped off by an offensive pass interference call on wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown.
NFL Week 16 lived up to the hype as pressure was put onto the teams looking to make the playoffs. Several games came down to the wire and a couple went into overtime.
The Steelers have the edge in the turnover department, having picked off rookie Shedeur Sanders for his second interception of the game in the fourth quarter. This time, it was a pick from safety Kyle Dugger, whom the Patriots traded to Pittsburgh ahead of the NFL trade deadline.
The playoff picture continued to take shape in Week 16, with several key wins catapulting teams to the front of their divisions and putting them in a position to compete for a Lombardi Trophy.
New York dominated Las Vegas, to the tune of 34-10. Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart passed for 207 yards, rushed for 48, and had two touchdowns on the ground. Wide receiver Wan'Dale Robins had 11 receptions for 113 yards.
Week 18 can bring a wide variety of games, from must-win scenarios (Carolina Panthers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers) to games key for playoff seeding to games that will only impact the draft order.
