Thanks to some hot streaks (Blue Jays, Brewers, Mets) and some not-so-hot streaks (Tigers, Dodgers, Astros), the MLB standings have, right on the cusp of the Trade Deadline, gotten almost absurdly tight.

The Brewers have now won 10 straight games, including all six of their matchups against the Dodgers in that span, and are suddenly tied with the division-rival Cubs for the best record in the National League.

Probably a little better than the Bronx Bombers, who got schooled again by the Toronto Blue Jays and nearly swept at home by the Philadelphia Phillies, while along the way losing Triple Crown threat Aaron Judge for at least 10 days with a flexor strain in his right elbow.
