FuelCell Energy Inc. (FCEL) on Tuesday reported a loss of $28.3 million in its fiscal first quarter. On a per-share basis, the Danbury, Connecticut-based company said it had a loss of $1.42. The results beat Wall Street expectations.

FuelCell Energy (FCEL) came out with a quarterly loss of $1.42 per share versus the Zacks Consensus Estimate of a loss of $1.52. This compares to loss of $1.50 per share a year ago. These figures are adjusted for non-recurring items.
