Def Leppard have been announced as the third act booked for this year's Grandstand Series at the Minnesota State Fair. The stadium rockers from Sheffield, England, will take to the stadium on the evening of Tuesday, Aug. 26, with tickets going on general sale at 10 a.m. Friday.

The Minnesota State Fair announced on Tuesday that the well-known classic rock band Def Leppard will perform at the Grandstand on Tuesday, Aug. 26. Def Leppard Will Now Play Minnesota and Iowa State Fairs in 2025
The band is actually doing a state fair trifecta in 2025. They'll also be appearing at the Illinois State Fair , August 16. Def Leppard got their start in Sheffield, England in 1977 when the band Atomic Mass added 18-year-old lead singer Joe Elliott to its lineup. It was Elliott who suggested the band change its name to Def Leppard.
