Canada defenseman Shea Theodore is out for the rest of the 4 Nations Face-Off because of injury. Theodore injured his right wrist or forearm when he got crunched into the glass on a hit by Sweden's Adrian Kempe in the second period.

The Vegas defenseman suffered a right wrist injury in the second period after being slammed into the glass by Adrian Kempe.

MONTREAL -- Shea Theodore will miss the rest of the 4 Nations Face-Off because of an upper-body injury he sustained in Canada’s 4-3 overtime win against Sweden at Bell Centre on Wednesday. The defenseman left the best-on-best tournament opener shortly after he was checked into the boards by Sweden forward Adrian Kempe at 2:23 of the second period.

Defenseman Shea Theodore was forced to leave during the second period of the opening matchup between Canada and Sweden. He was on the receiving end of an awkward hit with Sweden's Adrian Kempe. Theodore was playing alongside Drew Doughty on Canada's blue line before the injury, recording 6:31 of ice time.
