WASHINGTON (Gray DC) - For the first time since starting his second term in January, President Donald Trump plans on meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin face to face. Trump made the announcement Friday afternoon during an event at the White House. He later posted on social media the meeting is planned for August 15 in Alaska.

Touching on Ukrainian anxieties that a direct meeting between Mr. Trump and Putin could marginalize Kyiv and European interests, Zelenskyy said: "Any decisions that are without Ukraine are at the same time decisions against peace. They will not bring anything. These are dead decisions. They will never work."
