Lauren Betts finishes with a career-high 33 points as No. 1 UCLA defeats No. 8 Maryland 82-67 to improve to 20-0 for the first time in program history.

The Terps suffered their third straight loss, all to ranked teams, in an 82-67 defeat to the Bruins, who got 33 points from Betts.

Saylor Poffenbarger had 18 points for the Terrapins, who have dropped three in a row. Maryland played its without second-leading scorer Shyanne Sellers, who sat for the second consecutive game with a knee injury.

UCLA star Lauren Betts registered a career-high 33 points in an 82-67 road win against Maryland on Sunday. In the process, she also reached 1,000 career points. "Growth, that's it," UCLA coach Cori Close said of Betts' performance.

Betts, a junior center, scored 33 points and set a school record making 14 of 15 from the field in the 82-67 win as the Bruins move to 20-0.
