LOUISVILLE, Ky. — At airports nationwide, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has extra steps in place for air travelers without REAL ID, passports and other federally-required documents.

Department of Homeland Security says you can show a passport, Military ID, Green Card or Global Entry Card in place of a REAL ID. It's the start of a new era at O'Hare and at airports across the country. Passengers are now required to travel with a REAL ID or other acceptable form of identification.
