The Dallas Mavericks can’t seem to catch a break in the 2024-25 NBA season. After they traded the injured Luka Doncic, the star player they received in return, Anthony Davis, has suffered a right adductor strain.

Dallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving will replaced injured teammate Anthony Davis on the All-Star roster. The NBA announced the news on Monday. The decision was made by commissioner Adam Silver. Davis was initially selected as an All-Star reserve as a member of the Lakers prior to his trade to the Mavericks for Luka Dončić.
