Comedian Sarah Silverman talks about her new Netflix special, 'PostMortem,' about the deaths of her parents, and shares dark family secrets.

The “Saturday Night Live” alum explained that her father had been beaten by her grandfather as a child and her grandmother was aware of this and let it happen. That said, it was probable that Max did shake her baby brother to death, and her grandmother stood by his side as they tried to cover it up with the crib story.

Sarah Silverman really wishes she didn’t use the n-word on stage, she told Rolling Stone in a new interview to promote her Netflix special PostMortem. Silverman was referring to a joke from her 2005 special Jesus is Magic,

"I felt like the temperature of the world around me at the time was ‘We are all liberal so we can say the n-word," she tells Rolling Stone
