On Tuesday, Vancouver Canucks captain and star defenseman Quinn Hughes was missing from the game against the Colorado Avalanche. He therefore missed a second straight game with what seems to be a lower-body injury sustained during his team’s 5-3 loss to the Dallas Stars on Friday.

The Vancouver Canucks will be without their captain for a second straight game as Quinn Hughes will not play against the San Jose Sharks. According to Head Coach Rick Tocchet, Hughes will not travel to San Jose with the team on Wednesday and will miss Thursday's Pacific Division showdown.
