Columbia students reported feeling threatened when masked protesters stormed the campus library, chanted anti-Israel slogans, and mocked the Israeli hostage crisis.

Two Columbia University safety officers were injured and at least three people arrested Wednesday after 100 pro-Palestinian protesters forced their way into the library in "actions that are outrageous.

New York City police took 80 people into custody after responding to protests on Columbia's campus, the police department said.
